JWizz RSS News Reader
100% Free RSS/Atom News Reader
JWizz RSS News Reader is the standalone Java version of
Wizz RSS News Reader
. It has been developed using Java 1.4.2_04-b05 and is absolutely 100% free of charge. Without the frustrations of badly documented Firefox/Gecko APIs and taking advantage of multi-threading available through Java, JWizz RSS is far more robust and powerful than
Wizz RSS
. JWizz RSS does
NOT
contain
ANY
spyware or adware.
Third party APIs used by JWizz RSS News Reader: -
JDesktop Integration Components
(JDIC) -
The JDesktop Integration Components (JDIC) project aims to make Java™ technology-based applications ("Java applications") first-class citizens of current desktop platforms without sacrificing platform independence. Its mission is to enable seamless desktop/Java integration.
JDIC provides Java applications with access to functionalities and facilities provided by the native desktop. It consists of a collection of Java packages and tools. JDIC supports a variety of features such as embedding the native browser, launching the desktop applications, creating tray icons on the desktop, registering file type associations, creating JNLP installer packages, etc. Many new features are contributed as incubator projects from the community.
JavaMail
-
The JavaMail API provides a platform-independent and protocol-independent framework to build mail and messaging applications. The JavaMail API is available as an optional package for use with Java SE platform and is also included in the Java EE platform.
JavaBeans Activation Framework
(JAF) - Which is required by JavaMail
